Sponge Iron is  a metallic product produced by direct reduction of high grade sized iron ore in the solid state, used for making M.S.Billets. SEPL is manufacturing Sponge Iron with the installed capacity of 800 TPD.

SEPL has Steel Melting Shop with installed capacity of 96000 TPA for manufacturing of M.S.Billets which is used as the main raw material for manufacturing re-rolled products like bars, rods etc.

The company has installed Waste Heat Recovery Boiler (WHRB) and Fluidized Bed Combustion (FBC)   Boiler for generation of 16 MW Power to meet its captive requirement of DRI & Steel Melting Shop.
